Bob Frost, Scottsdale Poet Laureate, is a former city of Scottsdale employee, who retired after 25 years as a general manager. Following his employment with the city, he served for three years on the Public Art Selection Committee, six years on the Parks and Recreation Commission, and six years on the McDowell Sonoran Preserve Commission. He has been Scottsdale’s Poet Laureate for nine years. In 2017, he was inducted into Scottsdale’s History Hall of Fame. Frost has published three books of poetry. He will be reading cowboy poetry from his book Cowboy Poems about The Old West and New.
