Casey Farina: Creating with Algorithms

Participants will download a version of Casey Farina’s work on their own laptops* and learn to manipulate lines and shapes using coding processes.

This workshop will take place in the Nationwide Innovation Zone. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Masks are encouraged. Please bring your own laptop*.

About the Event

Participants will download a version of Casey Farina’s work on their own laptops* and learn to manipulate lines and shapes using coding processes. Farina is a Phoenix-based artist who creates audio/visual artwork from iterative processes. This work often combines Farina’s expertise in animation, sound design, visual effects, digital fabrication, and improvisation.

This workshop is for adults and teens. Participants must bring their own laptop. If you do not have access to a laptop, we have a limited number of them. Please reserve by emailing LHales@ScottsdaleArts.org.
