About the Event

Inspired by the heavenly sphere in ancient and medieval cosmology consisting of fire and light, the dancers of NicoleOlson|MovementChaos will travel the Canal Convergence grounds as celestial beings, creating modular and elegant dances throughout the night.

Each year, Canal Convergence invites Arizona-based dancers to perform and interact with the artworks. NicoleOlson|MovementChaos, a perennial performance group, will return on both Saturdays for two different works, Empyrean on Nov. 5 and Wishful Waters & Starry Nights on Nov. 12. Empyrean will be performed at various locations around the Scottsdale Waterfront.
