About the Event

Moonlight Magic is an all-original, instrumental, lounge-exotica combo specializing in a variety of classic styles: bossa nova, tango, boogaloo, surf, calypso, cumbia/chicha, ballads, Polynesian music, spaghetti western-themes, and soul-jazz—all rendered with a distinct and unified approach that is uniquely Moonlight Magic. Moonlight Magic has been playing in the greater Phoenix-area since mid-2016 at events like Canal Convergence, Scottsdale Arts Festival, Arizona Tiki Oasis, the Arizona State Fair, Grand Avenue Art Detour, Phoestivus, and M7 Melrose Street Fair and at venues that include Valley Bar/Rose Room, The Van Buren, Crescent Ballroom/Lounge, The Womack, and The Bikini Lounge. Additionally, they have held their fabled 2017–18 weekly Friday residency on the rooftop of the Clarendon Hotel, where they still perform monthly. The band’s full-length album PHOENIXOTICA is available on Slope Records.
