NFTs—Non-Fungible (one-of-a-kind) Tokens—have transformed the way we value and collect digital art.  Sensational headlines of record-breaking sales garner all the attention. However, they are an important innovation for digital artists, whose works previously were endlessly reproducible, making ownership unclear. This new type of digital asset enables verifiable provenance through blockchain technology.
