About the Event

Salt River String Band is a country/Americana/bluegrass band from Arizona that plays original music sprinkled with classic favorites. The band includes Laura Hamlin on vocals, acoustic guitar, washboard, shaker, tambo, and spoons; Austin Sweeney on vocals, acoustic guitar, and mandolin; Kazton Boone on vocals, banjo, acoustic guitar, and 12-string acoustic guitar; and Josh Williams on vocals, upright bass, and mandolin. 

The band members all have other musical projects but came together for a shared love of all things with strings. Hamlin also performs with Laura Hamlin Music, Tall Paul Mastin, and Scattered Melodies. Sweeney performs with Austin B Sweeney Music. Boone performs with Scattered Melodies. And Williams performs with Jim Bachmann & the Day Drinkers, Jonathan Thomas and the Little Room Band, and Josh Williams Music.
