Shaping Light recalls the traditional cut-tin lanterns used for decorations at parties and festivals. Mexican artists would cut narrative images into the tin to illustrate figures and tell stories. Participants in this drop-in workshop will cut their own designs from paper and test them in on-site light stations while capturing the moment with a photo.
