About the Event
Take part in a collaborative sound installation! In this workshop, you will use portable microcomputer technologies (microphones, portable speakers, code, loops) to explore relationships between people, sounds, and spaces. You’ll learn about musical and technical approaches to artistically respond to a place and will develop an on-site installation in which each participant‘s work becomes part of a larger, emergent sonic structure. No experience necessary.
