About the Event

The Blues Review Band was formed out of Bluesman Mike’s passion for the blues. In 2007, he decided to go back to his roots by spending his birthday gift on a bass guitar. He soon started jamming with co-founder Doug Hill, and they began performing all over the Phoenix area. Now Bluesman Mike and The Blues Review Band have released four albums: Blues for The Road, Mo’ Blues, We Do The Blues, and the recently completed 2021 release, Knee Deep Into These Blues. The band features Bluesman Mike on vocals and bass, Sugar Bear on vocals and lead guitar, Tim Robinson on drums, Curtis Andrews on keyboard, Jijjy Von on vocals and harp, and Shawn Behanna on sax.
