Biography
AZ(LAND) is a local community-based nonprofit organization focused on addressing the climate crisis and engaging all desert dwellers about the impact on our natural and built environments. AZ(LAND) works to address climate change through four key program focus areas. This is through education (teaching about the history of place), strengthening environmentally focused research and data accessibility to elevate community and academic knowledge, future-building (designing and developing resilient and sustainable urban communities in the face of climate change), and, lastly, action and advocacy (raising awareness about environmental issues endemic to our Sonoran Desert communities).
