Led by local gaming experts, participants can drop in at the Lounge area to play classic games we all know and love as well as learn to play more obscure tabletop games.

Mystery at the Canal

An international artist of mystery has been sighted at Canal Convergence. Can you discover who it is and why the artist is acting so mysteriously? Solve head-scratching and mind-twisting clues while exploring the installations at Canal Convergence in order to discover the identity of the mystery artist in this self-guided activity for teams. The first 40 people to correctly solve the mystery will receive guest passes to Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA). Just stop by the Canal Convergence Info Booth to pick up your mystery guide and return it before 8 p.m.

Mobile Karaoke

Dust off your vocal chords and get ready to give Canal Convergence a show with mobile karaoke. The Mobile Karaoke Unit is the Valley’s only fully mobile outdoor karaoke experience. Since 2010, MKU has taken karaoke out of the bars and into the streets to bring karaoke to the masses at First Fridays, arts festivals, and even parades. With a carefully curated list of thousands of songs, singers can belt out their favorite tunes in the most unexpected places.

Flow Yoga

Join Jordan Donovan-Schager in an all-levels flow yoga class. She will lead you through a 45-minute class that can be modified to your personal fitness level. This class is open to all ages. Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring your own yoga mat and arrive 15 minutes early to claim your spot.

Poetry Bike Ride

Join local poets Anna Flores, Todd Fredson, and Sarah Vap on a family-friend bike tour around Old Town Scottsdale where participants will be invited to write a line of poetry inspired by the sights. Their lines will then be added to a poem presented on the Goldwater Stage at Canal Convergence during the poets’ reading from 6:15 – 6:45 p.m. that night.

Night Lights Bike Ride

Become part of the art with the popular Night Lights Bike Ride. Wear glow-in-the-dark clothing or outfit yourself and your bike with colorful lights for a tour of public art in Old Town Scottsdale. Then, become part of the art at Canal Convergence as the tour passes the Scottsdale Waterfront. Following the Nov. 13 ride only, The Scott Resort & Spa will offer complimentary samples of a signature cocktail, one Denizen Card, and happy hour pricing for the rest of the evening to Night Lights bike riders who wish to experience The Canal Club following the ride. This offer does not apply to the Nov. 18 ride.
