This augmented reality tour, via the +ScottsdalePublicArt channel on the Hoverlay app, includes five stops along the Scottsdale Waterfront that tell the story of the engineering, history, and maintenance of the Arizona Canal. Each stop points out unique features that make the Scottsdale Waterfront a vibrant community space while also providing crucial resources for our state.

Access the tour by pressing “Start” on the “SRP Canal Tour” card when you are at any of the five SRP stops.

Please be aware of your surroundings while using the app.

Location: Along the eastern section of the Arizona Canal at the Scottsdale Waterfront. Begin the tour at the southern end of the Marshall Way Bridge.

The Watershed Video Series produced by SRP

Join SRP on an epic journey as we explore our historic water system and the vital role it plays in Greater Phoenix. In this six-part series, you’ll tour the Salt and Verde watersheds and river system and see firsthand how water is carried to people in the Valley. You’ll also learn what SRP is doing to protect against drought, wildfires and climate change, and ensure we have enough water for years to come.
