About the Event

Spend some time with The Walter Hive making a hand-stitched-and-bound, personalized inventorโ€™s journal. Participants will create their own book using traditional bookbinding stitch techniques, then customize the cover with collage materials. Blur the lines between art and technology by learning a brief history of how art and science have worked together to build our modern world. Add one of the oldest technological inventions, the sundial, to your book. Then spend some time sketching your own innovations or using polaroid photos to expand on some of the Canal Convergence installations you have seen.

This workshop is recommended for ages 10 to adult.
