About the Event

This sustainability-focused event returns for a one-night showcase of beers made exclusively with ultra-purified water from Scottsdale’s Advanced Water Treatment Plant. During the showcase, attendees may vote online via a QR code for their favorite brew, so tell us what you think!

In 2019, Scottsdale Water became the first water agency in Arizona permitted to treat recycled water for potable use. The One Water Brewing Showcase at Canal Convergence will spotlight beers crafted from this recycled water by local breweries. The showcase is part of Canal Convergence’s sustainability efforts as we promote resource conservation. Learn more about our efforts on the Sustainability page.

Participating Breweries

Scottsdale Water and Canal Convergence are partnering with several local breweries to bring this fun, educational event to the area. These participating breweries understand the importance of water sustainability and conservation—especially during this time of prolonged drought and water shortages. Advanced Water Treatment Plant

The Advanced Water Treatment Plant at the Scottsdale Water Campus is one of the largest and most advanced water recycling facilities in the world. Recognized by the WateReuse Research Foundation and the Australian Water Recycling Centre of Excellence as one of the world’s most innovative water purification projects, the AWT produces 20 million gallons per day of ultrapure water and celebrated 25 years of successful operation in 2023.
