About the Event
Arizona State University Learning Futures invites Canal Convergence attendees to experience learning through exploration, made possible with extended reality (XR) during this free, drop-in workshop. Come play, and test drive our latest educational products, meet the students developing these innovative platforms using XR technologies, and learn more about how XR can enrich educational outcomes and learning opportunities for all.
At ASU Learning Futures, we create the conditions to foster creativity and collaboration to enhance learning. Faculty, students, and staff experience deeper empathy for all our learners by taking part in bold exploration and experimentation within a human-centered learning environment. ASU Learning Futures imagines and builds the future of learning three-to-five years in the future through a human-centered design Collaboratory, a set of student creative development and production studios, and a series of community and partner engagements, events and activities through our Emporium. Our pedagogy and teaching methodologies are future-focused, design-forward, and steeped in our values, which inform our work and day-to-day interactions and guide us in decision-making for future impact.
