Recycle Bin Project

Using recycle bins donated by Scottsdale Solid Waste Services, students from Scottsdale Unified School District were challenged to turn these everyday objects into works of art that tell the story of water.

An additional challenge was posed to SUSD high school art and robotic students. With a focus on innovation, technology, and design, Scottsdale Arts asked students to reimagine the future of sustainability. Each class received materials, access to experts, and a City of Scottsdale recycle bin to destruct and reconstruct to include artistic and robotic elements.
