Spectrum Swing
On view Nov. 3–12
New Orleans, Louisiana
Rainbows are created through a magical combination of water and light, revealing a spectrum of individual colors. Spectrum Swing evokes this wonderous experience through a series of swings suspended below a trio of rainbow sculptures. This interactive artwork celebrates the power of connection through play as seven dedicated color spaces invite participants to activate the corresponding individual color in the rainbow overhead. Only after all seven spaces are occupied will the full spectrum of rainbow illumination appear.
